Bullish$ADA See ADA insights for 2026-09-18 20:00 UTC
Long article:
1. ADA’s price rose by 10% over 24 hours, driven by speculation about an exchange-traded fund (ETF) and anticipation of the Ouroboros Leios upgrade, despite the risks of exploiting the ecosystem.
Key factors
1. - **Network update anticipation (High)**: The potential mainnet launch of Ouroboros Leios is expected to increase transaction processing speed from 10 to 1,000 transactions per second, forming a key incentive for decentralized finance applications.
- **ETF speculation (High)**: With the deadline approaching on October 23 to decide on an immediate ADA spot ETF, institutional interest and market speculation are rising.
- **Capital flows and momentum (Medium)**: Hourly inflows peaked at around $1.96 million alongside a positive MACD indicator crossover, supporting a bullish price move of 10% over the past 24 hours.
Risk assessment
1. - **Ecosystem exploitation (High)**: The recent exploitation of the Splash StableSwap pool resulted in an unrecovered loss of 2.42 million ADA, leading to local liquidity issues.
- **Weak ecosystem fundamentals (Medium)**: Slowing development pace, a decline in total value locked on-chain, and the closure of the key TapTools platform—together these heighten community doubts about the likelihood of a bullish trap.
