#aistockswhatnext
Two numbers are getting repeated everywhere in this hashtag this week. Neither one is quite right.$
My view: bullish on the chip leaders, skeptical of the noise around them.
Nvidia's CFO guided ~70% revenue growth for FY28 on Aug 26 — not the "double" everyone's quoting. That line was Jensen Huang describing unfilled demand on Sept 17, not company guidance.
So here's what I'm actually asking: if the rally's real but narrower than it looks, where's it actually coming from?
What I'm watching instead of the obvious names:
• Chip-equipment and memory makers leading the tape, not just #NVIDIA
• Cybersecurity catching a bid every time AI-safety headlines hit
• $BTC and AI tokens riding the same macro wave — short covering, falling oil — not an AI story of their own
• Breadth still hasn't confirmed it: more stocks hit new lows than new highs the same day Nasdaq closed at a record
None of that is bearish. It's just not the "everything's mooning" story getting posted right now.
Same goes for Washington. The "AI Force" announcement has no structure or budget yet, and the "25% of GDP" line has no source behind it.
The real edge this week isn't picking the next AI winner. It's knowing which of these numbers are actually real.
