Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said the European Union should seek an agreement with China to rebalance trade ties rather than be drawn into a damaging dispute, according to Bloomberg.

Sánchez made the remarks as he said talks with China can help the EU cut its trade deficit.
