A week ago, I was watching "$10 to $1000 in one day" clips, and I was excited to throw all my money into a coin that was pumping +23%.
I put in half a dollar and lost, and I learned 3 lessons they don’t teach you on YouTube:
*1. Don’t buy a green coin at +10%*
If the coin is pumping, you’re not smart, you’re the customer they’re selling to. Buy when it’s red and people are scared.
*2. Don’t split your capital*
You have $3 and buy 5 coins? $0.50 each? Even if one pumps 20%, your profit is $0.10. That’s not trading, that’s wasting time. Focus on one coin.
*3. Your $2.98 isn’t money, it’s tuition*
I’m not trading to make money right now, I’m trading to learn for free. Losing $0.05 today saves me from losing $500 in two years.
*My plan at 20 years old:*
I won’t deposit a single riyal into trading for one year.
I’ll save 300 riyals every month from a side job = 3,600 riyals in a year.
I’ll keep trading as education only with $2.98.
After 3 years, I’ll be 23 and have:
- 11,000 riyals cash
- 3 years of chart experience
- A skill that brings me 100-300 riyals monthly
