Ugur Sahin and Özlem Türeci, the husband-and-wife scientists who cofounded BioNTech SE and developed the first commercial mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccine, have moved a step closer to launching their own venture, according to Bloomberg.

They named the new firm Arife, or “the Wise One.”
