BCH just re-priced on a CME futures-listing headline — the pullback is the trade, not the spike 👀
📌 Why it's on my radar:
• CME is adding Bitcoin Cash futures (Oct 19 launch) — the institutional gate just opened for BCH.
• +9.1% today, yet still ~3.5% below the 90-day high — it hasn't become a top-chase yet.
• RS ~+9.4% vs BTC (flat at −0.4%) — real relative strength, not a beta bounce.
• Funding sits at 0.01% — the move isn't crowded. Room to run.
⚠️ Watch the set-up, don't chase it:
Price spiked to 366, pulled back to 344 and reclaimed 360 — so I'm not buying the spike. I'm waiting for the retest of the new shelf (346.5–351.5) to see if buyers defend it. That retest is the whole question.
🧠 Signs I'm watching for:
— Volume calming on the retest (a shelf-forming pullback, not a waterfall)
— Funding staying near zero — no late-crowd chase
— Buyers holding 344; a close below it + surging funding weakens the thesis
🎯 My personal trade plan (Binance Futures · 10x — not a call):
• Entry zone: 346.5 – 351.5 (price now: ~354) — wait for the pullback
• Stop-loss: 340.5 (−2.4% from entry)
• Targets: TP1 361.2 (+3.5%) · TP2 371.7 (+6.5%) · TP3 382.2 (+9.5%)
• Rule: once TP1 hits, SL moves to entry — a winning trade never becomes a losing one. 🔒 Gate: price must reach the zone; above 353 I stay out.
❓ A CME-listing re-rating, or a news spike that fades? Which tells it first — volume on the retest, or funding turning positive? Reply and watch — I'll answer in the first hour.
⚠️ Not financial advice. Always DYOR.
