📱 When does Telegram usually release major updates?

Amid the anticipation of the full launch of Gram Wallet, I decided to look at which dates Telegram released major updates of the app over the past year.

Here’s what I found 👇

2025:

2026:

👀 September — still waiting

Telegram doesn’t have any specific fixed date.

But what’s more interesting is this: between major updates, there’s usually about a 3–6 week gap.

The latest major Telegram update came out on August 25, and today is September 23 — 29 days have passed.

So we’re already roughly within the usual timeframe for the next major update.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the release will definitely come out tomorrow or next week.

But given that in the beta version of Telegram people keep finding more and more ready-to-use elements for Gram Wallet, the coincidence looks interesting 👀

Especially since Telegram previously said that in 2025 it released 13 major updates, and the average interval between them was about 26 days.

So now it’s especially interesting to see what Telegram has in store for the next release.

And will Gram Wallet finally be available for everyone 💎
