#SNDK To be honest, I’ve really gained a lot of insights these past couple of days. I switched from SanDisk to Western Digital—my profit on the first trade originally reached 100%, but later it pulled back by 30%. Still, even after switching to SanDisk, I’m not really confident about chasing highs. Western Digital has a smaller relative trading range. Overall, the reason is that after switching to Western Digital stock, I still used the mindset I had when trading SanDisk. That led to the profit retracement. The conclusion from this is: in the future, when trading, you should choose industry leaders. Stocks like that are basically a waste of opportunities. The upside is that with any wind or grass movement, it reacts faster than SanDisk.

Today’s profitable short position: the entry point was simply a really low-effort/bad entry point, even though the direction was correct. I wanted to keep holding this short position, but I wasn’t home, so I didn’t trade.

Never bring your emotions into the trading market. Also, these past two days I’ve had some realizations: don’t stare at the screen for a long time while trading—otherwise you can easily get pulled into the wrong track. Make sure you spend more time around high-energy people and places where affluent people gather. And don’t neglect monitoring for too long either, or you’ll lack a sense of the market.

The next trade should further refine my approach. You need to have a plan (this is something I didn’t do, but I hope to do it going forward).
