Trump Discloses New Strategy Stock Purchases in July Filing
U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest ethics disclosure, OGE Form 278-T, shows that accounts under his name bought shares of Strategy Inc. on July 24 and July 27 in two separate transactions. According to ChainCatcher, the purchases were reported in ranges of $1,001 to $15,000 and $50,001 to $100,000.
The filing said the buys came when Strategy was near a 2026 low, and the stock has risen about 83% since July 24. The White House said the holdings are managed by a third-party institution on a discretionary basis, and Trump does not take part in trading decisions. The disclosure lists the positions under his status as a beneficiary.
The report also said Trump’s accounts have previously bought and sold Strategy shares multiple times. In June, the accounts sold positions totaling $16,002 to $65,000, and the two new buy orders were added in the July reporting window.
