AI Stocks Are Rising โ But Can the Growth Last? ๐
AI stocks have been getting a lot of attention lately, but I think the more interesting question is not simply whether AI will keep growing.
Itโs how sustainable this growth really is.
The demand numbers are hard to ignore.
NVIDIA reported $96.2B in quarterly revenue, up 106% year over year, while Data Center revenue reached $89B, up 117%. NVIDIA has also projected around 70% revenue growth for fiscal 2028. (NVIDIA Newsroom)
And thereโs another interesting signal: Jensen Huang recently said NVIDIA expects to sell roughly twice as many chips next year as this year. That refers to chip volume, not revenue, but it still shows how strong the company expects AI computing demand to remain.
So yes, Iโm bullish on the long-term AI trend.
But Iโm not assuming that every AI stock will automatically benefit.
What Iโm watching is the gap between AI expectations and actual business results.
๐ AI revenue growth
๐ Compute and data-center spending
๐ Real-world AI adoption
๐ Company valuations
๐ Infrastructure and energy costs
๐ Whether massive AI spending can translate into sustainable returns
The AI story may still have a long way to develop, but the market is also becoming more demanding.
For me, the next phase is less about asking โIs AI the future?โ
We already know AI is becoming a major part of technology and business.
The bigger question is:
Which companies can turn that demand into sustainable growth?
Whatโs your view?
Bullish or bearish on AI stocks from here? ๐
And whatโs the ONE metric youโre watching most closely?
