What I’m watching is this transmission chain: when geopolitical tensions cool, oil prices ease first, then inflation expectations follow; only then does capital dare to move into areas with bigger volatility. In the past few rounds, it has basically worked out that way.
However, between “issuing conditions” and “a real ceasefire,” there are often several more rounds of back-and-forth.
Do you think this time it’s genuinely meant to cool down—or is it another round of probing?
