Binance is removing the hryvnia. And this time, it’s not a rumor.

On September 28 at 10:00 (Kyiv time), Binance will close UAH deposits and withdrawals via Fiat Trade and remove the USDT/UAH spot trading pair.

All open USDT/UAH orders will be canceled.

And now the most important part for those who have hryvnia on Binance: the remaining corresponding UAH balance on the exchange will be automatically converted to USDT by September 30 at 19:00 (Kyiv time). The fixed rate is 1 USDT = 46.5 UAH. If you’re okay with this conversion, you don’t need to do anything.

But there’s no need to scream “Binance left Ukraine.” The announcement specifically mentions Fiat Trade UAH and the USDT/UAH pair. This is not the same as completely stopping all operations involving hryvnia.

And here’s the key question for me: what will become the convenient bridge between the hryvnia and crypto after September 28?

Because removing the pair in the terminal is just a technical step. Removing a simple fiat gateway is already a change to user infrastructure.

I’ll be watching exactly that. If you want to understand what’s actually changing for a Ukrainian crypto user, rather than panicking over Telegram, follow @MoonMan567
