Grayscale has renamed its Grayscale Bitcoin Miners ETF to the Grayscale AI Compute ETF and changed its New York Stock Exchange ticker from MNRS to GCPU. According to ChainCatcher, the fund will now track the Indxx High Performance Computing Index instead of the Indxx Bitcoin Miners Index.
The ETF will invest in companies building and operating AI infrastructure. About half of the holdings will be native AI compute companies, while the rest will be digital infrastructure operators that have publicly committed to shifting toward AI businesses, including firms that have transitioned from Bitcoin mining.
