$ETH ETH is moving sideways at the high level— is it building a big move, or just losing steam?
Brothers, take a look at ETH at noon—the price action is kind of interesting.
After it surged to 2803 in the early hours, it didn’t keep pushing higher and it didn’t dump either. It just kept chopping back and forth in the range of 2740 to 2780. Small red candles and small green candles alternate—looks like it’s nodding off, but actually it’s building momentum.
Think about it: after a strong run, the car is full of profit holders. If it pumps again right here, selling pressure will definitely be heavy. The main players aren’t stupid. They’d rather keep it moving sideways to shake out those who can’t hold, and let the short-term traders go play on their own. This is using time to create space—it's not that it’s got no drive; it’s saving up the power for the next punch.
The key level is just one: 2740.
As long as this level doesn’t break down meaningfully, the long side structure isn’t broken, and the support below is quite strong. You can think of 2740 as the “briefs line” for short-term longs—if the briefs don’t come off, it can still bounce around.
In terms of execution, don’t chase or panic-sell. Watch whether it can stabilize around 2740–2750. If it stabilizes, consider picking up a little with a small position size. Then bet on a breakout above the previous high near 2800. If it breaks below 2740 and can’t get back up, retreat first—don’t stubbornly hold on.
The longer it consolidates, the stronger the eventual breakout. Don’t get shaken out of the car during the shakeout, and don’t get carried away chasing during the spike.
