China laughs at US sanctions. Huawei has moved away from Windows and Linux and released its first PC on its proprietary OS
Huawei has unveiled its first desktop PC, the HM650, which—rather than Windows or any well-known Linux distribution—comes with the Harmony OS system installed. This is Huawei’s in-house creation, which in its early days was based on Google Android, but later gained its own codebase. The PC’s specifications have not been disclosed, but it looks like a typical system unit from the mid-2010s.
