At present, in the cryptocurrency market, excluding the two largest-volume benchmarks (BTC and ETH), the accumulated phase of other altcoins has been longer and harsher than in the previous cycle. The coins are still gradually rotating hands, and the big whales need enough time to slowly collect the coins back from retail investors.
Another easily overlooked point is those older coins that didn’t truly make new all-time highs in the last cycle. Their rallies often aren’t “completed within one round,” but instead span two cycles—such as XRP, BCH, ZEC, and XLM—whose structure is, in fact, more patient.
If we look at it from this angle, the altcoin lineup that genuinely runs this cycle is likely to be more solid and more continuous than in the last cycle.
