Just chatting over lunch for a couple of sentences.

Trump made a speech at the United Nations saying he would “completely destroy” Iran, and then, the U.S. delegation turned around and sat down with the Iranians in New York to talk. One side is shouting for war while the other is shaking hands—doesn’t this script feel familiar?

The market is staying calm. The Nasdaq hit a new high last night.

What’s even more surreal is diesel. U.S. diesel prices set a record. Trump then directly called for a ban on diesel exports, and the Treasury Secretary Bessent said they are assessing it. Bank of America is even more bullish, saying Brent could reach $150.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict is also adding fuel: Ukraine attacked two Russian refineries, and Trump himself said this move “dealt a heavy blow to diesel prices.”

For $BTC , this kind of chaos is a double-edged sword. The safe-haven narrative can support valuations, but when liquidity tightens for real, it gets hit alongside risk assets. Personally, I’m watching oil prices rather than crypto prices. If oil can’t hold steady and inflation expectations can’t be brought down, then the “rate cuts” storyline can’t keep playing.

$ETH is just swinging with the broader market—no catching the bottom, no chasing, just holding firmly and waiting for direction.
