🐶Can a Memecoin Last Long? I Look at 3 Things
💀Floki once fell by about 98% from the 2021 peak.
Back then, on the chart all you could see was a downward line. But while the price was plunging, the community kept building—creating content and keeping the project’s story alive.
That’s the signal I care about. With memecoins, the community is almost the product itself.
I usually ask myself 3 questions:
1️⃣ Is the story simple enough to explain in one sentence?
Easy to understand → easy to share → easy to spread.
2️⃣ After the hype fades, is there any goal left for the community to hold onto?
If not, it’s very easy for the market to forget it.
3️⃣ When the price drops, is the community still active?
In a bull market, everyone cheers. A bear market reveals who really stays.
For me:
A story that attracts newcomers.
A goal that keeps them around.
The community decides whether the project continues to be built.
Not every memecoin is worth paying attention to.
But if a coin starts making me answer “Yes” to all 3 questions, I’ll put it on my watchlist and monitor it very closely.
👉This is how I observe memecoins, not investment advice.
