I’ve been talking about ZEN lately—not because I think it’s about to moon anytime soon, but because I’m more focused on a question:

If ZEC keeps pushing the ceiling of the privacy track higher and higher, will capital start looking for the next batch of privacy assets?

Right now, ZEC has already surged to around $1,600, and the hype around the privacy narrative is still going strong. ZEN is currently only a little over $8, and its market cap remains quite small. (CoinMarketCap)

More importantly, today’s ZEN isn’t the same as the old simple PoW privacy coin.

Horizen has migrated to Base, and its positioning is gradually shifting to “privacy + EVM + DeFi” infrastructure. The official team now directly describes it as a private DeFi ecosystem. (Horizen)

So my logic is simple:

ZEC is responsible for keeping the privacy track’s fire burning; ZEN is there to see whether it can capture the premium from the next segment.

Of course, the prerequisite is this—ZEC can’t go out.

So I’ll keep holding ZEN and just wait slowly.
