Effective 2026-09-29, Binance will move users’ crypto assets from the Funding Account to the Spot Account, to be completed by January 2027. The exact dates will be announced later. The Funding Account will be renamed the Securities Account, used only for settling stock and stock options trading. It supports six asset types: USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, U, and BNB. After 2026-09-29, the Securities Account will no longer support on-chain deposits. Users can proactively transfer assets via “One-Click Migration.” Assets not migrated by the user will be automatically migrated starting in January 2027.
