DATAIP has concentrated most of the past day's fluctuations into the most recently completed hourly K-line. According to public Binance data at 09:48 (UTC+8), $DATAIP perpetual futures are at 0.2321, up 3.57% over the past 24 hours, with a trading value of about 10.09 million USDT. Binance spot does not have DATAIPUSDT, so this time we only discuss perpetuals.

The previous complete 1-hour period rose from 0.2194 to 0.2353, up 7.25%, with the high and low of 0.2521 and 0.2180, respectively. Trading volume for that hour was about 3.63 million USDT, up 1,673.00% month-on-month; the quantity OI increased by 14.91% in one hour, and the 30-point window increased by 22.67%. Price, trading, and positioning expanded in sync, but the current price has already fallen back below the hourly close; the ability to hold after the spike has not yet been confirmed.

The funding rate introduces another layer of disagreement: the most recent actual Funding was +0.0050%, while the next period's estimate has turned to -0.1467%. If the cost basis of short positions continues to rise, it could amplify the squeeze; alternatively, it may simply be positioning skew within high volatility, and OI may not be able to distinguish whether newly added positions are net long or net short.

I treat 0.2180–0.2521 as the confirmation zone. Only if it reclaims 0.2353 and breaks above 0.2521 with volume would that support continuation; if it falls below 0.2180 and OI remains high, first watch for rapid unwinding of leveraged positions—do not chase the breakout.
