I’ve been watching the AI trade lately, and honestly, the part I find more interesting now is what sits around the AI stocks.

Nvidia’s latest results showed just how strong the demand has become: quarterly revenue reached $96.2B, up 106% year over year, while Data Center revenue jumped 117%. But when everyone is focused on the biggest AI names, I keep wondering where the next opportunities are.

For me, the obvious areas to watch are data centers, power, cooling, networking, semiconductors and AI infrastructure. AI models need an enormous amount of compute, and that means the companies supplying the physical infrastructure can benefit from the same spending cycle. Recent activity in AI infrastructure and data-center financing shows how large this investment theme has become.

At the same time, I don’t think “AI” automatically means every related stock keeps going up. The spending is huge, and investors are already questioning how much debt and capital the industry can absorb.

So I’m staying bullish on the AI theme, but I’m looking beyond the obvious names now. The next opportunity might not be building the AI — it could be powering it. 👀
