On-chain analysts watching the traps of dormant tokens: once ancient wallets that have been inactive for more than five years move, it’s an early warning from the supply side. These holders have extremely low costs and a strong willingness to realize. Four BTC wallets with the longest dormancy—up to 14 years—collectively transferred out 1,971 BTC, about $161 million. The largest single transfer was 1,260.78 BTC, worth $100.63 million—the first time it has moved since 2016. The three addresses involved are linked to a lawsuit over abandoned BTC assets in New York.

BTC is currently trading at 86,226, down 0.3% over the past 24 hours. Based on this playbook, the transferred amount makes up only a small proportion of daily trading volume and total market value, so it’s a single-point event rather than a trend-like distribution; it can’t push the direction in the short term. What really needs watching is whether these ancient addresses will continue to release in volume afterward. Keep positions in the neutral range at the current price band; if similar addresses add more volume, then consider reducing holdings. #BTC
