🚨 $16.2 BILLION IN BITCOIN OPTIONS EXPIRE IN 72 HOURS

Bitcoin has just broken above $86,000.

Now look at where the biggest buy positions are stacked:

$85K → 10,000+ BTC
$90K → 10,000+ BTC

Exactly where Bitcoin is trading RIGHT NOW.

Something doesn’t add up:

Why is Bitcoin entering the heaviest options zone just days before $16.2 BILLION expires?

- $10.33B BUYS
- $5.92B SELLS

Almost 2:1...

Most traders see that and think:

“$100K is next.”

Wrong question.

The real question is:

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN ALL THIS POSITIONING DISAPPEARS?

Because open interest tells you where the positions are.

It does NOT tell you who will be forced to buy or sell when the price crosses those strikes.

And right now, part of the biggest expiry positioning is sitting exactly around Bitcoin’s current price.

That means the $85K-$90K zone could behave very differently BEFORE Friday than AFTER Friday.

Then Friday arrives.

08:00 UTC.

$16.24 BILLION expires.

A massive chunk of the current positioning gets liquidated or rolled.

The hedges around it change.

And Bitcoin loses one of the biggest positioning forces that’s influencing this week’s move.

That’s when we get the answer:

Can Bitcoin keep holding $86K AFTER the expiry?

If yes:

$90K → $100K

becomes the next logical move.

If not:

The breakout everyone is celebrating today could unwind much faster than people expect.

Save this tweet. Come back after the expiry.

When you see the move that matters, I’ll post exactly what I’m doing here as I always do.
