Privacy is becoming a bigger crypto narrative
The privacy sector is starting to look bigger than just anonymous payments. I’m seeing more attention around private trading, cross-chain settlement and confidential DeFi, which could make privacy infrastructure a much broader theme this cycle.
A few developments are pushing that narrative forward. $ZEC has been getting attention around its protocol upgrades and growing institutional exposure, while $NEAR is bringing privacy into cross-chain activity and perpetuals. ZAMA is taking a different approach with FHE, aiming to make on-chain applications and DeFi more confidential.
I’m particularly watching ZEC and ZAMA. ZEC has the established privacy angle, while ZAMA is interesting because confidential computing could open up new possibilities for DeFi and smart contracts.
What I like about this narrative is that privacy is evolving from simply hiding transactions to giving users more control over what information is exposed while trading and interacting on-chain.
For those trading the sector, ZEC, NEAR and ZAMA are all available to trade on Bitget, so I’ll be keeping an eye on how these names perform as the privacy narrative develops.
If you’re already trading any of them, drop your chart, entry thesis or strategy below.
