Alibaba Cloud has joined the Omacom Foundation as a founding sponsor company, with a three-year commitment totaling $3 million ($1 million per year). The two parties will jointly develop Omarchy China, with local initiatives in the areas of CDN, hosting, and the community, while also adapting Omarchy to Qwen models. The partners plan to create Qwen Book, a native operating system for AI agents, with Omarchy serving as its foundational layer. Alibaba Cloud’s contribution brings the total amount of pledged support to the Omacom Foundation to approximately $21.7 million.
