Wu Shuo learned that in its latest weekly report, Wintermute noted that after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates by 25 basis points and the CLARITY Act’s procedural vote failed to pass, the crypto market rebounded. Last week, ETH rose 6.7% and altcoins overall gained 4.8%. Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net inflows of about $6 million over the week, including net inflows of $433 million on Friday. BTC closed the weekly chart at $81,159, the first time it has climbed above the 50-week moving average since early November last year. As of the report’s publication, BTC has broken above the prior consolidation range of $75,000 to $81,000 and at one point rose to about $86,000. Wintermute believes the market will next focus on whether it can hold at the new price levels and on profit-taking behavior.
