Kazakhstan’s Regulated Crypto Market Surpasses $10 Billion, Web3 Ecosystem Enters the Global Top Ten
According to the Astana Times, Kazakhstan’s regulated cryptocurrency market recorded trading volume of $10.58 billion in 2025, a significant jump from $320 million in 2023. The number of users grew from 53,000 to 215,000. Meanwhile, Kazakhstan ranked among the global top ten in terms of the number of applications for the international Solana hackathon. More than 8,000 people completed training through the Solana ecosystem, and over 2,000 received certificates. In addition, the country already has 57 Web3 startups that have received total funding of about $262,000, and it plans to complete tokenization of real estate and logistics projects worth up to $60 million by the end of 2026 to explore the feasibility of digital assets as a new channel for economic financing.
