Vitalik name-drops it—TRUE really cranks up the hype.

After Trueo announced its migration from Base to the Ethereum mainnet, it received public support from Vitalik. Within five hours, the protocol token TRUE surged from around $0.02 to about $0.214—its maximum gain exceeded 10x. As of the time of writing, according to GMGN market data, TRUE is trading at roughly $0.11, with an FDV of about $11 million (based on a maximum supply of 100 million).

But popularity and follow-through are not the same thing. Trueo’s current TVL is about $800,000, while its trading volume over the past 7 days has been only $2,775. In the last 24 hours, protocol fee revenue was around $11, and liquidity is extremely thin. On Base, existing trading, settlement, and redemption processes are still running normally, and the migration plan itself does not include any hard deadline.

If you look at this news, you can observe two things: first, Vitalik’s public statement can indeed quickly amplify the narrative; second, for low-cap assets with low liquidity, price volatility and drawdowns tend to be sharper. Are you more concerned about whether it can convert that sentiment into trading volume later, or are you more focused on the mainnet rollout timeline and the oracle mechanism’s validation?
