While Bitcoin was tossed about by the Fed’s decision, and Ethereum was hit by a red wave, the week’s biggest surprise came from where nobody expected it. Zcash took the crown.
A quick breakdown of what happened in the market:
👑 Zcash (ZEC ETF): The absolute winner of the week. Inflows of +$98.2 million — the best result among all 14 spot products. Since launch at the end of August, the fund has already delivered its 4th straight green week: AUM jumped to $914.5 million, and trading volume ($11.42 billion) took nearly a third of all spot ETF turnover.
📉 ETH: The main loser. The only family of funds in the red for the week — down by -$140 million.
🎢 BTC: An epic comeback by the end of the week. On Tuesday and Wednesday, amid the Fed rate hike to 3.75%-4% and the fallout from the CLARITY Act being dumped in the Senate, nearly $750 million was taken out of Bitcoin. But a Friday buy of $433 million literally saved the situation: the final result was +$6.2 million.
🏎 Solana: Quietly, without extra noise, printed its 12th consecutive positive week (+$13.2 million).
So what’s the takeaway?
