Dogecoin rose more than 15% during Tuesday’s Asian morning session, becoming the top gainer among major tokens, with its current price just above $0.10. Bitcoin, meanwhile, stayed above $85,600 and rose about 5% over the past 24 hours. Over the past day, more than $1 billion in crypto positions were liquidated, with 82% (about $844 million) belonging to short sellers. Around 135,000 traders were forced to close their positions. Bitcoin accounted for roughly $608 million of the day’s liquidations, while Ethereum was $181 million. The largest single liquidation was a nearly $21 million Bitcoin position on HyperLiquid.
