According to Sina Finance, Barclays has hired Wee Yee Yeong, Morgan Stanley's head of wealth business in Singapore, as its Singapore and Asia wealth head starting in December. Wee Yee Yeong will replace Evonne Tan, who left in April to become chief executive of Asia wealth at Schroders. Wee Yee Yeong and Barclays did not comment, and a Morgan Stanley spokesperson confirmed that the executive will leave the firm.
