### Summary

Cardano (ADA) price rose above $0.24 today as buyers returned during a broader upswing in the cryptocurrency market.

ADA recorded gains of 7.03% to trade near the $0.244 level, after briefly touching $0.2488. This move broke a price barrier that had been stalling some past recovery attempts.

### Cardano Price Breaks Through a Stubborn Ceiling

The recent rise pushed ADA above its 200-day moving average, which was near $0.239. In simpler terms, Cardano is now trading above its average price from roughly the past nine months.

Breaking above this level may indicate that a long-term recovery has begun to take shape. But to be more convincing, ADA needs to close today’s trading above this level.

Buying activity also improved, with Accumulation rising from about 400 million to 695 million during the recent recovery period. This suggests buying exceeds selling, but it doesn’t necessarily mean gains will continue.

ADA is up about 24.5% from its recent September low near the $0.196 area.

The next test lies between the $0.2488 and $0.25 levels, where the recent upswing failed to break through. If it clears this zone, it could open the way to the $0.256 level.

If the price falls instead, the previous resistance level around $0.239 to $0.24 would be the first area to watch. If it holds above it, that would mean buyers turned the old ceiling into support. A deeper drop could pull ADA back toward the $0.227 level.

### Broader Upswing Supports ADA

Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrencies saw positive trends, meaning improved market sentiment helped lift ADA.

Ongoing Leios development work in Cardano may have provided additional behind-the-scenes support, but the network upgrade is not yet complete.

In August, Input Output announced that Leios achieved 6 times the usual production rate of the Cardano network during the first testnet. However, it’s still under development and hasn’t been launched on the mainnet yet.

### Final Summary

- ADA rose 7.03% and broke above its 200-day moving average near the $0.239 level.

- The next resistance is around $0.25, while the $0.239–$0.24 area is the first support zone.
