Nancy Pelosi bought shares of Bloom Energy and Intel worth at least $3.75 million.
She bought both common stock and call options.
👉 Below is her updated portfolio:
– $BE: 15,000 shares and 200 call option contracts. Total purchase value: from $3 million to $12 million.
– The Bloom call options have a strike price of $100 and expire on June 17, 2027.
– $INTC: 10,000 shares and 50 call option contracts. Total purchase value: from $750,000 to $1.5 million.
– The Intel call options have a strike price of $50 and also expire in June 2027.
– These are Pelosi’s transactions, carried out from July 24 to July 28 and disclosed on August 21. The report only lists value ranges, so no one can know the exact amount spent.
Bloom’s case is especially noteworthy…
This company provides direct power at the customer’s site, including data centers. Oracle signed a contract for 1.2 GW of capacity under an agreement that can be expanded to 2.8 GW.
In my view: this is a major bet on the electricity demand needed to keep AI development going.
This is definitely worth learning more about. However, we’re looking at purchases made since July (meaning they’ve already happened). The key question for us is whether those trades still make sense at today’s prices…
