According to NVIDIA, Tesla’s battery storage systems became eligible on Monday (September 21) for the DSX Ready program for the company’s AI factories. The TSLA stock rose 2.9%, to $375.30, reaching its highest level in nearly three weeks. NVIDIA has named Tesla, Hitachi Energy, and LG Energy Solution as the first eligible suppliers of battery energy storage systems under DSX Ready, a program designed to help AI factory builders identify power and cooling products that meet NVIDIA reference design requirements.

In addition, Morningstar expects Tesla’s revenues from energy generation and storage to grow by an average of 30% per year from 2027 to 2031, compared with 17% growth in automotive revenues, suggesting that the energy business is growing faster than the core business.
