Shares of some technology and crypto-related companies saw strong gains. Intel (INTC) rose 12.39%, Meta (META) rose 11.56% and AMD rose 10.34%.

In the group of companies related to digital assets, Strategy (MSTR) rose 9.72%, BitMine (BMNR) rose 7.95% and Coinbase (COIN) rose 3.74%.
