After yesterday’s big-volume breakout, the price continued to strengthen, reaching as high as the 874-month line Bollinger Band midline. Yesterday morning, it ran a round within a range, after which the main thinking was made clear. Once it moved into the higher zone, we kept following the main direction; during the process, we also briefly cut in. In total, we captured 6100 points. Then during the early hours it kept consolidating and didn’t really offer many good entry opportunities, so we didn’t arrange trades. Bai Ping took down a large order from the huge range, then rested. That’s why I’ve been emphasizing: if you can catch short moves, catch short moves; don’t just chase and follow blindly. In a trend, you enter when countering strength—testing and then taking the trade. Control of positioning is key. After a significant surge in volume, will it keep charging higher… or what?

From the chart, spot ETFs have returned to net inflows, and institutional buying has increased. However, some ETF holdings’ cost basis is concentrated in the 820–830 range, so there is profit-taking overhead. And after consecutive rallies, the 4-hour timeframe is already severely overbought. Also, the faster and more aggressively the volume surges, the more likely it is to spike and then pull back. Therefore, chasing long at the high level needs caution: for intraday trades, go long first on the highs, then wait to go long again when it pulls back to the low zone.
