From “Erya · Shitian”: “In summer, Changying (written as late summer ascending to Yongying).” Yongying (ascending to Yongying): the Eighteen Scholars of the Tang dynasty; they entered the literary institute, and people admired them as “Yongying,” a metaphor for gaining entry through success in the imperial examinations, entering public service, and ascending to an immortal realm—earning an overflowing fortune.

Changying = summer. Everything grows and flourishes, and ying = fullness.
Late summer (Changying): Jixia, roughly from the latter part of July to before early August, from the Great Heat to before the Beginning of Autumn—late summer.
Fengqi (fēng qǐ, written as “Fengqi”).

From “Book of Odes · Daya · Wenwang You Sheng”: “There is abundant water, and there are qi.”

- Qi: a kind of grain seedling. Fengqi’s original meaning: luxuriant growth of plants and a bountiful harvest.
- In this set of ancient-style time copywriting: Fengqi refers to early autumn, when grain and crops are gradually ripening (Mengqiu, the seventh month of the lunar calendar, after the Beginning of Autumn).
