Minwoo Park, a former Tesla hire, was appointed Hyundai Motor Group’s autonomous driving chief earlier this year and became the automaker’s youngest divisional president, according to Bloomberg.

He inherited a unit marked by turf wars and trailing rivals such as Tesla in the push to develop driverless cars.
