I thought for a long time that “TradFi on Binance” was just another name for the same tokenized stocks—only with different branding😅. I decided to check rather than repeat what others say.
Turns out, no—these are completely different products under one roof.
bStocks are tokenized certificates backed 1:1 by a real share. You buy the token, trade it 24/7 even on weekends, but you don’t receive the shareholder’s rights—legally, it’s not the same stock.
TradFi has something I didn’t expect: in Wealth Management they’ve already added real ETFs—and this isn’t a token twin, but a real fractional stake. Your order goes through Nest Trading to Alpaca Securities, which executes the trade and holds the security—so the benefit is the same as for an owner of a real share.
Separately, TradFi also has perpetual stock futures (Tesla, Intel, Meta, NVIDIA)—and this is no longer ownership, but derivatives settled in USDT.
So:
— real ownership and dividends → ETF via Wealth Management;
— flexibility and 24/7 trading with smaller amounts → bStock;
— leverage and derivative risk → perpetual futures.
Honestly, I haven’t tested the real ETFs yet—I’m writing based on official materials, and I want to see it in the interface.
Do you distinguish these three things, or is it all “tokenized stocks” for you?👇
