X sues Bitcoin account operators over alleged fraud of 207,000 $

X filed a lawsuit on September 17 before the High Court in London against two British nationals and several unidentified operators. The platform accuses them of artificially inflating the involvement of six accounts centered on Bitcoin in order to obtain at least £207,384 through its former creator payout program.

X is seeking £207,384 in payments, plus at least £75,000 in expenses.

Six Bitcoin accounts are at the heart of the lawsuit—three of which would be linked to Vivek Kumar Sen and three to Zamyang Sherpa.

The allegations have not yet been examined by a court and no decision has been issued.

Six Bitcoin accounts and more than £207,000

X Internet Unlimited Company and X Corp. brought the case before the Business List of the High Court on September 17. The two companies are suing Vivek Kumar Sen, Zamyang Sherpa, and “persons unknown.”

According to the lawsuit, the accounts would have operated in a coordinated manner to artificially increase their share and earn higher income through the Creator Revenue Sharing Programme, X’s former remuneration system.

The document puts the payments at £207,384.94. The account @Vivek4real_ would have received £74,332.44, compared with £49,441.91 for @saylordocs. @Bitcoin_Teddy would have received approximately £50,476 in two payments. The other three accounts would together have received £33,134.31.

X is also seeking at least £75,000 to cover costs related to its investigation, network analysis, and measures taken to prevent the system from being repeated.
