According to Wallstreetcn, OpenAI is developing new features to compete more directly with SpaceX's recently launched Grok Bot and is discussing a personal AI assistant to counter Meta's newly released Muse. The products would mainly be based on a reorganization and packaging of OpenAI's existing agent technology in Codex and ChatGPT, and could connect to email, calendars, and other apps to automatically complete multi-step tasks such as scheduling and email communication. Grok Bot can run around the clock as an "AI teammate" or digital assistant to handle market research, ad planning, and in-app operations, while Meta's Muse can reply to emails, shop, and communicate with merchants. The personal AI assistant app Instinct has also attracted more than 100,000 users. OpenAI has not yet specified when the new features will launch.
