US Treasury Secretary just recognized stablecoins, strengthening the USD’s position: A sustainable breakout or a liquidity trap?
Mr. Scott Bessent cited figures showing the greenback accounted for up to 89.2% of forex transactions, sending a positive legal signal that triggered an immediate market reaction: $BTC jumped +5.67% to 85,090.1 USD.
However, from a hands-on trading perspective, macro risks are still present as yields on 10-year US Treasury bonds have reached the 5% threshold—liquidity has not been easy. The current level of 85,090.1 USD is precisely the decisive test.
