According to Foresight News, a message from Circle blog, the Circle Mint platform has launched a digital asset collateralized borrowing and lending function (DABB), open to eligible institutional customers. Users can deposit BTC and mint Circle Wrapped Bitcoin (cirBTC), then use it as collateral to deposit into a third-party lending market, allowing them to borrow USDC without selling their BTC. The feature currently supports two networks: Arbitrum and Ethereum. In the initial stage, it integrates the Morpho lending protocol, and will later expand to more protocols such as Aave.
