A trend is not “price went up today.”
A trend is a sequence. 📈
The cleanest bullish structure is:
Higher High → Higher Low → Higher High
That tells you buyers are pushing price to new highs, while pullbacks are holding above the prior swing low.
Example: price rises from 100 to 110, pulls back to 105, then breaks 110. If the next pullback holds above 105, the uptrend structure is still intact. One red candle does not change that. 🧠
The trap? Staring at every tiny move.
On a 5-minute chart, price can look bearish for an hour while the 4-hour chart is still printing higher lows. Noise creates panic. Structure creates context.
Practical rule:
Before taking a trade, mark the last 2–3 clear swing highs and lows.
• Higher highs + higher lows = bullish structure
• Lower highs + lower lows = bearish structure
• Mixed swings = range or uncertainty
For a bullish idea, the key question is not “Did price dip?”
Ask: “Did price break the last meaningful higher low?” 🎯
Until that happens, a pullback may just be a pullback.
