$SOL Solana (Solana) network reduces block production time
Technical update (SIMD-0525):
The development team “Anza” announced the activation of the third phase of Solana’s structural update. Current result: block production time (Blocktime) has been reduced from 300 to 250 milliseconds. This means the network is now producing 4 blocks per second instead of 3.3. While this increases the speed of processing transactions, experts explained that the amount of data within each block has decreased by the same proportion; therefore, the network’s overall maximum capacity has not changed so far.
