#BOYAA Interactive buys another 152 BTC, with holdings exceeding 4,400!
BOYAA Interactive’s latest announcement shows that over the past week the company further purchased about 152 Bitcoins in the open market, with a total consideration of approximately HK$90.63 million, at an average purchase cost of about $75,899.
After this purchase is completed, the number of Bitcoins held by BOYAA Interactive will reach about 4,468, with an overall average cost of approximately $68,543. What’s even more noteworthy is that this money comes from the company’s idle cash reserves generated by business operations, rather than taking big leverage bets on BTC.
This actually sends a signal that is becoming increasingly clear: BTC is gradually shifting from being “personal investors’ assets” to becoming a long-term allocation on the balance sheets of listed companies.
Strategy is the most typical example, and now BOYAA Interactive is also continuously increasing its BTC reserves, having already made multiple purchases this year. Previously, the company also bought about 205 BTC between June and early September.
My personal take: what’s truly worth paying attention to isn’t the 152 BTC itself, but the fact that this “company cash → BTC” model is steadily spreading.
If, in the future, more and more listed companies allocate part of their cash reserves to BTC, then market demand for BTC will no longer rely solely on retail investors and ETFs, and corporate asset allocation could become a new source of incremental capital.
Of course, there are risks to companies holding BTC as well: a sharp pullback in the BTC price would directly impact the value of their assets, so it can’t simply be understood as “the company buys it, so BTC will definitely rise.”
But from the perspective of long-term capital structure, the fact that more and more companies are willing to put BTC on their balance sheets is, in itself, a change worth watching.
