A lottery coin is a codename we used back then in our community to refer to “USTC three brothers, FTT” and similar bankrupt coins.
Later, word spread, and spread until it became widely known.
It evolved into this: high-risk “small coins” that rank lower on the list. What people call “a lottery” is really just allocating a tiny portion of your assets, like buying a lottery ticket.
“Lottery studies” isn’t really about lotteries.
It’s an ultra-high-risk investment. Using investment as a metaphor is not quite appropriate—“public welfare” is a better fit. It’s meant to comfort the spirits of those who once dominated the crypto world in the community, with winning depending on luck and losing serving as entertainment.
In life, people will always buy some fun, and think of it as setting aside a warning-asset for yourself.
