Many beginners think “coins are in a trading exchange/wallet app,” but in reality blockchain assets are fundamentally recorded on-chain. A wallet only helps you manage your private keys and initiate signatures. A private key is like a unique key—whoever can sign can transfer the assets. A seed phrase is usually a backup form of the private key, so you can’t screenshot it, can’t send it to customer support, and can’t store it in cloud drives. To determine whether a wallet is secure, the first step isn’t to look at the interface, but to see whether you personally control the seed phrase and whether you understand “if it’s lost, it can’t be recovered; if it leaks, it can’t be追回.” Protect your keys first, then talk about returns.
