Apple has reached a preliminary settlement valued at $250 million in a class-action lawsuit involving advertisements for Apple Intelligence and Siri on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, as well as the entire iPhone 16 lineup in the United States.

The plaintiffs allege that Apple made misleading statements and failed to deliver the AI features that it had advertised within the promised timeframe. The consolidated lawsuit includes Landsheft’s case against Apple Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.

The agreement is expected to apply to consumers who purchase the device models above in the U.S. for use, not for resale, within the period from June 10, 2024 to March 29, 2025.

Eligible people can receive a cash compensation of at least $25 per device, up to $95 depending on the total number of valid claims and the court’s final approval.
